Max's on Broad is French-inspired regional cuisine served in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Maggie Walker Monument with patio dining. Chef Alex Enggist, from Elby's 2018 Best New Restaurant, Little Saint, took over the Max's on Broad kitchen in 2018. Enggist brought his ten years of classical training under a Master Swiss Chef as well as his love of local and sustainable foods.
We serve homemade desserts, soups, sauces, fresh salads, local raw oysters, cocktails, an extensive wine list, local beers, Belgian beers, private dining and outside dining. Featuring standout dishes like heritage breed pork chops, locally sourced Seven Hills beef, tuna tartare, and more. Situated in the lively Arts District in downtown Richmond, Virginia, centrally located among the many attractions.
