Belgian and french charm in THE arts district

Max's on Broad is everyday Belgian and French cuisine served in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Maggie Walker Monument with patio dining. Chef Alex Enggist, from Elby's 2018 Best New Restaurant, Little Saint, took over the Max's on Broad kitchen in 2018. Enggist brought his ten years of classical training under a Master Swiss Chef as well as his love of local and sustainable foods.

We serve homemade desserts, soups, sauces, fresh salads, local raw oysters, cocktails, an extensive wine list, local beers, Belgian beers, business lunches, private dining and outside dining. Featuring standout dishes like Cassoulet, French Onion Soup, Charcuterie, Local Cheeses and Meats, Duck, Steaks, Waterzooi, Roasted Chicken and more. Situated in the lively Arts District in downtown Richmond, Virginia, centrally located among the many attractions.
